Soft Line Product Inspection

• Checking the GSM or GSF of fabric as per the buyer's requirement.
• Counting the number of threads (the construction of the fabric).
• Comparing colours (of fabrics, accessories, and stitching threads) with a TPX or TCX Pantone book, lab dips, or fabric swatches.
• Checking colour fastness to washing, by washing a sample on a normal cycle together with a piece of white cotton fabric.
• Checking dry colour fastness, by rubbing with a piece of white tissue cotton fabric.
• Making sure there is no colour shading on the same product, and no strong colour shading between different products.
• Doing a shrinkage test on washable products as per the care instructions.
• Checking the direction of threads (the grain line) of the main fabric and comparing it with the client's sample or pattern.
• Checking seam strength, by pulling both sides with normal force.
• Checking all labelling as per approved artworks, and the labelling quality and composition as per the buyer's requirement.
• Keeping all labelling, marking, and product physical samples with us for any future order or reference.
• Checking labelling and marking placement as per the buyer's requirement.
• Ensuring products look good and have no wrinkles before final packaging.
• Checking box and carton quality as per the requirement of the product weight.
